About us

A Third Culture Kid (TCK) is a person who has spent a significant part of his or her developmental years outside the parents's culture. The TCK frequently builds relationships to all of the cultures, while not having full ownership in any.

Although elements from each culture may be assimilated into the TCK's life experience, the sense of belonging is in relationship to others of similar background.

With 2 passports, family in 8 countries and more than 440,000 air kilometres before the ago of 18 (that's more than 11 times round the equator), Danielle grew up with connections to 10 different cultures.

This blog is for Danielle’s random ramblings on life, culture, food, entertainment, family, cats, travel and anything else that comes up.
